Reader Guide
- Import EPUBs using Import. On desktop, drag and drop files. On mobile, share to DeltaScroll or use the file picker.
- Open a book from Library or In Progress. Reading position is saved locally per book.
- Use Home, Favourites, and Shelves to filter the library.
- Install DeltaScroll from the browser menu or the Install button to add it to your home screen.
- Switch between grid and list views, and sort by Title, Author, or Date.
- Star a book to add it to Favourites, then use the Favourites tab to focus on those titles.
- Create shelves to group books, then select a shelf to view or manage its titles.
- Use the trash icon to remove a book from a shelf or delete it from your library (confirmation required).
- Use the search bar to find books in your Library, or switch the scope to Online for Project Gutenberg.
- Online search requires at least two characters; results appear in the Gutenberg panel.
- Download an EPUB directly from results, or open the book page for more details.
- Open the Table of Contents to jump chapters; the current chapter is marked.
- Paginated view: swipe left/right, scroll, or use the Prev/Next controls to turn pages.
- Continuous view: scroll vertically through chapters; progress updates as you read.
- Use the Details panel to see chapter progress, overall progress, and pages read.
- Select text (drag or long-press) to open the toolbar.
- Add highlights in multiple colors, apply bold/italic/underline/strikethrough, or add a bookmark.
- Add a note to a selection; notes and bookmarks show inline indicators you can tap to jump or peek.
- Manage bookmarks, highlights, and notes from the Bookmarks drawer or sidebar.
- Search inside the book; results show snippets and jump to the match.
- Copy or share selected text, or run a quick web/dictionary search from the toolbar.
- Read Aloud: choose a voice, play/pause, move to the next or previous paragraph, and adjust the rate.
- Use the speaker icon in the selection toolbar to start reading from a specific point.
- Adjust font size, line spacing, and font family from Settings or the Typography panel.
- Choose Light, Dark, or Sepia themes. Preferences are saved per book.
- Switch Page View between Continuous and Paginated, and toggle the page-turn animation.
- Pinch on touchscreens to change text size; on trackpads or mice, use the pinch gesture or Ctrl + scroll.
- Single tap or click in the reading area toggles the controls; the Eye icon hides them entirely.
- Left and Right arrow keys navigate pages or chapters, depending on the view mode.
- Esc closes panels such as the Reader Guide, drawers, and search.
Shelves
Organize with folders
Existing shelves are managed from the main view. Use this dialog to quickly add a new shelf.
